I had heard of him, who is an award-winning woodworking craftsman. I looked for him in his country and it was not difficult to find him because everyone knows him.
The greatest difficulty was that of “synchronizing” on the times, as it gets up very early in the morning.
Time seems to have stopped in his shop: statues, castles, paintings, everything is dusty. There’s a dismal atmosphere but, at the same time, fascinating and full of mystery. Some of the machines that he uses every day are the result of his ingenuity, often deriving from the recovery of old electric appliances. He welcomed me in his laboratory with affection and kindness.
I met him many times and each time was a special and interesting moment.
