Light meets taste

Light is the undisputed protagonist of the pictures that Claudio Dell’Osa proposes in this exhibition.
Objects of daily use and typical products of our land, combined with skilful balance, emerge from caraveggesque, monòcromi and very dark backgrounds, illuminated by glimpses of light that make it stand out the purity of the lines and the chromatic vivacity. In the suspended and rarefied atmospheres of these modern “still lifes”, which are the result of a skilful manipulation of light and shadow, reminiscences of a distant past re-emerge, that trace us back to our simple and common roots.
